Maiogi Dance Fan
Design:
This is a professional Maiogi Dance Fan and was made by
Onishi Kyosendo
one of Kyoto’s traditional fan makers.
It is off-white, speckled with various metalic colors and silver trim. It has glossy black lacqured bamboo struts. It measures about 20” or 52cm from tip to tip when open and is 12” or about 30cm long when closed.

t has been been used but is in excellent condition in the original box. It is sturdy and sound without any structural issues.
There is a bit of lacquer mi

rivet
