Platinum Brooch Pin with Jade
This lovely brooch resembles a leafy vine with fruit blooming from it. The vine is in fact made of solid platinum and diamonds, the leaves are natural green jade, and the fruit are cultured Akoya pearls with diamonds encrusted at their centers. The jade, if you look closely, is comprised of 4 pear cabochon cut and 4 heart cabochon cut as the hearts have a little crease at their tops for their heart shape. There are 0.35 carats of round brilliant, old mine and single cut natural diamonds. The piece is beautifully imagined and made. It was crafted in the 1940s and is in Excellent condition with normal signs of wear.
