On Thursday, March 11, 2021, Carter Biese suffered a major crash during a practice session at the Motoplayground Spring a Ding Ding in Kemp, Texas, sustaining severe head and upper body injuries.  Carter was immediately airlifted to Parkland Hospital in Arlington, Texas, where a team of physicians assessed his injuries.
Carter underwent surgery to repair a torn artery to return blood flow to his arm. His shoulder separated so violently that it tore the artery.  An intercranial pressure monitor and drain was also installed.  Carter was placed in an induced coma and on a ventilator. He sustained small brain bleeds, as well as some internal bleeding.
Carter started physical therapy in April. He has pretty limited use of his right arm and hand. He still spends a good portion of his day resting/sleeping but that is improving as well.
Carters' medical bills are substantial even after his insurance was applied. All proceeds from this auction will go toward Carter’s medical & therapy bills.
