Design:
This vintage was made by one of Kyoto’s traditional fan makers for the famed Otowaryu Dance School. It is made of sturdy washi paper with natural-lacquered bamboo struts. It is has golden chrysanthemums and the Otowaryu crest on a silvery cream background.
It measures about 20” or 51cm from tip to tip when open and is a little over 11” or 29cm long when closed.
