Maiogi Dance Fan
Design:
This lovely display fan came from one of Kyoto's renown fan makers
. It is made of sturdy washi paper
with glossy
black lacquered
bamboo struts. It is
printed in a gorgeous bamboo design on
a metalic gold background. The other side is metalic silver and has a presentation
message dated 1981
.
It
measures about 20” or 51cm from tip to tip when open and is a little over 11” or 29cm long when closed.
