This lovely little purse is one of THREE antique miniature doll purses we are featuring here, of which two are shell purses and the third made of fancy embossed ormolu brass; please note this listing is for the ormolu brass purse only, as the other two shell purses will be offered separately for purchase shortly.
The purse measures a DIMINUTIVE 2" high and 3" wide and is 1/2 thick, with a 4" high metal link chain handle, and is completely ALL ORIGINAL in AMAZINGLY PERSERVED condition! It boasts a fancy EMBOSSED ORMOLU brass exterior with a lovely design including a center LAUREL WREATH and plenty of scrolls and bows, making the sweetest of doll accessories!  The purse has it's original and silver metal hardware and link chained handle, and when opened, it reveals a fabulous FEMININELY PINK portfolio style papered interior!  In overall EXCELLENT CONDITION with very little wear save for normal oxidation to its metal parts and minimal age wear to its brass exterior, lovingly preserved for over a century!
For scale purposes we have shown this wonderful purse being modeled by our 13" antique Fashion doll, who is not included in this offering but DELIGHTS in showing you how it can be worn VALISE STYLE by a smaller doll in addition as a smaller purse for a larger size Bebe!
